Supervisor and Assessor Training Bratislava

Bratislava.Do you want to participate in the Award programme (DofE programme) at your school? Do you need to train new Supervisors and Assessors of Adventurous journeys? Take a part in the Award training and get the certificate of Supervisor and Assessor of Adventurous journey.
The educational objectives of the training for Programme Adventurous Journey Trainers and Assessors are:
- have a consistent understanding of the Adventurous Journey section, and understand its requirements and standards as set by the Foundation’s international standards;
- gain the knowledge and skills needed to organise the Adventurous Journey section in a way that enables young people participating in the programme to complete it independently and safely;
- become familiar with risk management procedures, know how to act accordingly, and correctly assess situations;
- learn how to work with reflection and feedback, and be able to use them in practice.
A graduate of the training will receive an internationally recognised certificate and will be able to organise Adventurous Journeys for young people aged 14–24 who are involved in the DofE programme.
The contribution fee for the two-day training is €60 per participant. This fee is paid cashless by the Local Centre as part of the annual membership fee.
Conditions of participation in the training:
- To obtain the certificate, it is necessary to attend the entire training.
- The Programme Leader certificate is issued in a person’s name and is therefore non-transferable within a school/organisation. If the staff member leaves the organisation, additional employees or a volunteer must be trained. The certificate remains valid for the trained person and can be transferred with them to another DofE Local Centre.
- Participation in the training is a prerequisite for starting to deliver the DofE programme, unless agreed otherwise.
- The DofE Slovakia National Office reserves the right to cancel the training due to an insufficient number of participants or in case of illness of the trainer, whose presence cannot be replaced.
